# Restricted Trading Practices

To maintain a fair, sustainable, and professional trading environment, Bitfunded applies a set of trading risk guidelines across its programs.

These rules apply across Bitfunded programs, including **2 Step Challenges, 1 Step Challenges, and Instant Funding**, and are designed to encourage responsible trading behavior while protecting long term trading stability for all Traders:

### **1. Maximum Position Holding Duration (Anti-Swing Trading)**

**(Applies to 2‑Step, 1‑Step and Instant Funding Challenges)**\
\
Bitfunded trading accounts are designed for active trading rather than long term swing or spot style holding. To maintain balanced platform exposure and consistent risk conditions, positions may not remain open beyond the maximum holding duration allowed for the specific asset category being traded.

**Maximum holding duration by asset type**:

* **Every 10 days**: Major Crypto Assets (Top 10 by market capitalization)
* **Every 7 days**: Minor Crypto Assets
* **Every 5 days**: Traditional Trading Pairs (XAU, XAG, TSLA)

### **2. Excessive Risk Concentration (“All In” Trading):**

Traders are expected to manage exposure responsibly and avoid excessive concentration of account margin into a **single trade** or **multiple highly correlated positions**.

Examples of excessive risk concentration may include:

* Allocating the majority of account margin into a single trade
* Opening multiple positions simultaneously with excessive combined exposure
* Attempting to pass a Challenge through unusually high-risk trading behavior

Example:

A Trader with a 10,000 USDT account opening four positions of 2,000 USDT each at the same time would be using 80% of total account exposure, which is considered excessive risk concentration (“All In” behavior).

**Risk Adjustment Framework (Applies to 2-Step & 1-Step)**

* 65% – 74%: 50% payout penalty
* 75% – 89%: 60% payout penalty
* 90% – 95%: 65% payout penalty
* 96% – 100%: 70% payout penalty

**Risk Adjustment Framework (Instant Funding Evaluation)**

* 55% – 64%: 50% payout penalty
* 65% – 74%: 55% payout penalty
* 75% – 89%: 60% payout penalty
* 90% – 95%: 65% payout penalty
* 96% – 100%: 70% payout penalty

### **3. Maximum Simultaneous Open Trades**

**(Applies to 2‑Step, 1‑Step and Instant Funding Challenges)**

To maintain balanced account exposure and stable trading conditions, Traders may hold a maximum of **5 open positions simultaneously** across all instruments.

This limit applies regardless of:

* Asset type
* Trading direction
* Correlated exposure
* Whether positions are opened on the same or different assets

### **4. Minimum Trading Activity Requirement**

**(Applies to 2‑Step, 1‑Step and Instant Funding Challenges)**

At Bitfunded, we aim to support disciplined and sustainable Traders. To ensure that trading results reflect active participation rather than isolated speculative events, Traders must complete a minimum of **2 closed trades** during each trader stage period associated with the payout request.

Each qualifying trade must remain open for at least 10 minutes and reflect genuine trading activity.

### **5. Risk Management Standards**

Bitfunded encourages all Traders to apply disciplined and consistent risk management practices at all times.

Trading activity demonstrating:

* Repeated uncontrolled exposure
* Absence of reasonable risk protection measures across trades
* Excessive account volatility caused by aggressive exposure may be classified as excessive risk-taking behavior during payout review.

Traders are expected to apply appropriate risk controls, including predefined exit planning and reasonable protective risk management measures where applicable.

### **6. Hedging & Market Manipulation**

**(Applies to 2‑Step, 1‑Step and Instant Funding Challenges)**

Hedging or any form of market manipulation is not permitted on the platform.

This includes:

* Opening opposite positions on the same asset
* Coordinated trading across multiple accounts
* Exploiting pricing or execution inefficiencies
* Abusing platform systems or trading mechanics

### **7. Account Integrity**

To maintain fairness and equal trading conditions for all participants, Users are permitted to operate only one account identity within the Bitfunded ecosystem.

Creating or operating multiple accounts profiles for the purpose of circumventing platform rules, abusing Challenge conditions, or manipulating payout systems is not permitted.

These measures help maintain platform integrity, fair access to opportunities, and a sustainable trading environment for the entire Bitfunded community

### **8. Review & Risk Adjustments**

Before payouts are processed or Trader Stage accounts are granted, trading activity may be reviewed to ensure compliance with Bitfunded’s trading risk guidelines.

If restricted trading practices are identified during payout review, a **50% penalty** will be applied to the profit withdrawable from the Trader’s entitled 80% as part of the initial risk adjustment process. The applicable payout penalties outlined may be applied as part of the platform’s risk management framework.

These reviews are designed to maintain:

* Fair trading conditions for all traders
* Sustainable platform risk management
* Long term program stability for all Traders

Repeated or consistent violations of restricted trading practices may result in additional account limitations, payouts restrictions or participation review where necessary.

Bitfunded reserves the right to review trading activity that may:

* Create abnormal platform risk
* Conflict with fair trading practices
* Undermine the integrity or sustainability of the platform

Our objective is to maintain a balanced environment that supports both trader opportunity and responsible risk management across the platform.
